Warranty and returns/How and when to make a Warranty Claim
1. Battery leakage is not covered under the warranty. Do not return the unit to Lightwave™. Most battery manufacturers cover leakage damage. Contact the battery manufacturer.
2. If you need warranty service, please first contact the point-of-purchase location (distributor/dealer) for their customer assistance regarding replacement or repair. If point-of purchase warranty has expired and your flashlight is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, contact Lightwave™ Customer Service.
3. Please contact Lightwave™ Customer Service for an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. An RGA number is required for each warranty return shipment. Returns without an RGA number will not be accepted. Call 1 800 305 3902 or e-mail customerservice@lightwave-usa.com.
4. Include a copy of the original receipt or invoice showing proof of date of purchase. Any product received by Lightwave without proof of purchase will be returned back to you, without credit or replacement. A legitimate proof of purchase receipt or invoice is needed to verify warranty and must match the item being returned.
5. Ship your warranty return (postage and shipping prepaid) to:

Mark your Return Authorization Number clearly on the outside of the package. Warranty returns without Return Authorization Number and without prepaid postage or shipping will be refused. Also, clearly print and include your return address information for return delivery.
For your protection and to expedite handling and postal claims we recommend that all returns be insured and sent via Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested, or via United Parcel Service™ (UPS™), or other reputable carrier. |
