Inspection and Maintenance
For prolonged life and efficiency of your Lightwave™ flashlight inspect and perform following maintenance on your unit:
1. Inspection - any battery may leak
caustic solutions or gases which can corrode parts of the Lightwave™ flashlight. If your unit is used infrequently (once a month or less) remove the batteries and store separately. This prevents corrosion and may extend battery life.
2. Maintenance
- Place a small amount of silicone based lubricant on the rubber O-ring and on the threads. Do this every 6 months to prolong O-ring life.
Changing the bulbs
You never change the bulbs on a Lightwave™ flashlight.
Lightwave™ LEDs burn for thousands of hours in continuous use. That's longer than you would ever use them in a flashlight. Never change a bulb again.
Limited Warranty
Lightwave™ warrants all flashlights,
with exception of the Infiniton Series, to be free from defects in parts and workmanship for the period of 3 years from date of original purchase. The Infiniton Series is warranted for a period of 1 year. Lightwave™ will repair, or at its option,
replace a defective unit or any components thereof free of charge. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and conditions, express or implied.
Exclusions: this warranty does not cover 1. Battery exhaustion, 2. Battery leakage, 3. Damage
to or failure of the unit or any component due to alteration, misuse, battery leakage or lack of maintenance, 4. Scratches or cosmetic damages. Lightwave™ disclaims any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages.
In Canada and the
United States this warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which may vary from state to state and from province to province. Where any term of this warranty is prohibited by the law of any jurisdiction, such term shall therefore
be null and void, but the remainder of this warranty shall remain in full force and effect.
